G-1 – Business conduct

Owing to its statutory promotional mandate, public confidence is of particular importance to Rentenbank. The impeccable conduct of all the bank’s executive officers and employees is an indispensable prerequisite for the success of Rentenbank’s activities. Integrity, transparency, and compliance with national and international legal requirements and recognised standards form the normative framework within which Rentenbank conducts its business. To this end, the Management Board and all employees uphold a culture of compliance, which is laid down in particular in Rentenbank’s Mission Statement, the Codes of Conduct and other detailed organisational instructions, and is supplemented by internal control processes designed to ensure lawful conduct. All rules of conduct are available to employees on the intranet. Rentenbank has established a whistleblowing system in order to identify and remedy potential irregularities and/or sources of error.
