Basis of reporting

Rentenbank reports on persons with disabilities in accordance with the applicable legal requirements, in particular the provisions of Book IX of the German Social Code (Sozialgesetzbuch IX; SGB IX). Disclosure is provided in aggregated form and in strict compliance with data protection requirements.

Determination and disclosure of the inclusion rate

The inclusion rate is determined in accordance with Section 160 SGB IX using the methodology prescribed by law. It amounted to 3.20% in the 2025 reporting year.

Rentenbank collects and processes only the information required for statutory reporting. No further differentiation is made, for example by type or degree of disability. Information on recognised severe disabilities is regarded as particularly sensitive personal data. Accordingly, Rentenbank publishes only aggregated metrics and does not provide a gender-specific breakdown, in order to avoid enabling conclusions to be drawn about individual persons.
